Round Dance Cuer and Instructor
I have approximately 20 years in teaching and cueing round dancing. I began during 1989-1990 in Savannah, GA. My first round dance class was in Buford, SC with 35 couples.
My experience ranges from classes and cueing for clubs in Buford, SC; Paris island, SC; Savannah, GA; Anderson, SC; Clarkesville, GA; and Gainesville, GA.
My traveling consist of Portland, Oregon for the National Convention – cued in the Alaska State Convention – Mesa, Arizona (round dance capitol of the world) - GA State Convention – Florida State Convention – North and South Carolina State Conventions.
My education consists of round dance college in Indianna with top clinicians –Easterdays, Goss, and Blackfords. In addition, I made further advancements through numerious techniques, and styling clinics in a few states with leaders of Roundalab.
My husband, Joe, and I are members of Roundalab- Georgia Round Dance Teachers Association, North Carolina Round Dance Association, Dixie Round Dance Council, and Dancenrythms.
We are currently teaching a waltz class in Gainesville.
We encourage everyone to get involved dancing because it is fun, relaxing, and good exercise . We especially love the social part and making new friends.

    Lakeshore Round Dance Special!!! Beginning this dance (February 6) - Cuer, Shirley Wilson, is offering some Introductory and Basic Cha Cha lessons for FREE. The class will begin at 7pm and run up until dance time at 8pm.
